The concept for this pictorial was inspired by “garden,” the shared theme of Jeong Sewoon’s new mini-album “Where is my garden!”, released after one year and seven months, and his first-ever essay collection, “Words I Cherished and Saved.” Jeong Sewoon took part in the photoshoot alongside various flowers and plants, freely exuding his dreamy yet mysterious charm. In the interview that followed, Jeong Sewoon described the title track of his new mini-album, “Roller Coaster,” as “a song with an exciting, funky feel,” adding, “I wanted to offer comfort by saying that in life, there are times when we are shaken like a roller coaster and times when things are calm, but fear can also turn into excitement.” Speaking about Kim Eana, who wrote the lyrics to “Roller Coaster” and wrote the recommendation for the essay collection “Words I Cherished and Saved,” he expressed his gratitude, saying, “I learn so much just by watching her, and she really understands my thoughts and values.” Jeong Sewoon, who said, “When I’m on a show, I’m the ‘variety-show person’ or the ‘MC person,’ but I’m not naturally someone who likes to take the lead or put myself forward,” laughed and said, “I’m highly satisfied because I get to do so many things I’d never experience if I weren’t in this profession. Today, I was able to focus on being the ‘pictorial person.’” Finally, sharing the story behind his decision to try publishing a book, he candidly said, “It was something I’d never even considered, but since the opportunity came up, I decided to give it a go,” and “At first, it was hard because I kept trying to write only grand, impressive words. I completed it by making a great effort to take the force out of my writing.”
