“I immediately bought and read the translated original novel.”

The book I’d like to introduce is the original novel of the same title as the drama *A Litre of Tears*, starring Erika Sawajiri. Last year, while I was promoting a single album in Japan, a friend recommended that I watch *A Litre of Tears* as a drama. I was captivated by the tearful performance of the protagonist, Aya Kito (Erika Sawajiri), who is battling a rare disease called spinocerebellar degeneration. I immediately bought and read the translated original novel.
