What books mean to me

“Taesan: I usually like imagining things, so I don’t watch movies, dramas, or YouTube much; I only read novels. When you watch video content, your imagination can sometimes end with the scenes you see, and you can finish watching it all in an hour or two. But reading a book takes longer, so it can leave a lingering impression. I enjoy imagining what the main characters look like, what kind of scenery they walk through, and what their gait is like.”

Original quotation

“Recently, I enjoyed reading author Kim Ho-yeon’s book *The Inconvenient Convenience Store*. It’s about a homeless man who works part-time at a convenience store, comforting various customers and reflecting on himself. It’s a book with an emotional impact I can’t convey just by explaining it this way.”
