“There was nothing to do at the training camp, so I read books. I also kept a diary, and I cried twice.”

First, Inseong recalled first reading “Oseisa” after enlisting in 2022. He said, “There was nothing to do at the training camp, so I read books. I also kept a diary, and I cried twice. And now, three years later, since I’ve been given the chance to perform, it felt so incredible that I seemed to have become the future Maori, just as Tooru, who left, planted good memories in the future Maori.” He added, “I also wanted to put on a performance with emotional depth,” explaining why he decided to take part.
