“I decided to take part in this project because I thought this book could give many people an experience like the one they might have from a moving film or song.”

Translator: Seulgi, who debuted in 2014, is an all-around artist with excellent vocal and performance skills and captivating visuals. Through her work with Red Velvet, she has topped global charts with numerous hit songs and earned enthusiastic acclaim for her broad musical range and many transformations, including her work in 2020 as part of the Red Velvet–Irene & Seulgi unit. She says, “What’s truly cool is not chasing after others,” and continues to grow each day at her own pace. Her expressive, distinctive drawing skills have earned her nicknames such as “Painter Kang” and “Painter Seul.” What began as a casual hobby because she enjoyed drawing has become a source of vitality in her life. Drawing is another way for her to express herself, as well as a source of comfort and rest amid her busy life. She joined this project because she thought this book could give many people an experience like the one they might have from a moving film or song.
