Bumkey (singer): Hip-hop artist Bumkey, who recently released the CCM album “The Obedient” and is also actively involved in Eungu, a group engaged in drug-prevention and healing ministry, named “Why Jesus?” (Duranno) as his top choice. The book by Jo Jung-min, a pastor at Basic Church and former MBC Newsdesk anchor, uses 12 keywords, including “freedom,” “joy,” and “suffering,” to explain why Jesus alone is the answer. “When I first encountered God, I had so many questions. This book played a major role in helping me resolve them. It was also the first Christian book I read. What especially impressed me was how the author, who had lived as a Buddhist for nearly 50 years, explains why Jesus is the answer and the truth.”
