Novelist Kim Joong-hyuk’s essay collection, Something Will Work Out, was one of them. At first, he was drawn to its appealing cover and title. He said that, just like its title, the book seemed to answer and encourage him from beside him, like a “close older brother,” as he wondered, “What will I become in the future?” He confided, “I happened to debut as a singer while I was in school, but there were many difficult times,” and added, “Even after I started doing theater, I kept facing choices and failures.” He went on to explain that it was “a book that comforted and encouraged me at the time, as I acknowledged that period—which may have been full of mistakes and failures—and worked toward a better future.”
